UAE accounts, now in AED
Dedicated UAE IBANs that receive and pay AED on local rails - and take incoming SWIFT in USD, EUR, GBP and CAD on the same account.
Until now, moving money in and out of the UAE meant an international wire, a correspondent bank somewhere in the middle, and a day or two of not knowing where your money was. That changes today.
NxxAura clients can now hold a dedicated UAE IBAN in their own name, with local AED payments in both directions.
What the account does
AED on local rails. Dirhams arrive and leave as domestic UAE payments, not cross-border wires. Suppliers, landlords and contractors in the Emirates get paid the way they expect to be paid.
Four majors by SWIFT, same account. The UAE IBAN also receives incoming SWIFT payments in USD, EUR, GBP and CAD - so a single account handles both your local dirham flow and your international funding.
No separate dirham treasury. Your balance is held in USD, EUR, GBP or CAD and converted automatically on the way in and out. You transact in AED without having to manage an AED position or decide when to convert.
Who can open one
UAE businesses, naturally. But the account is also open to companies and individuals based elsewhere, where there is a genuine UAE business or payment purpose - buying property in Dubai, paying a UAE supplier, or funding a project in the Emirates.
Eligibility is confirmed during onboarding, and UAE accounts involve two additional local forms that your onboarding contact will walk you through. From there it is the same platform and the same login as the rest of your NxxAura account.
Why it matters
For anyone buying property in the UAE, the whole chain now sits in one place: receive the purchase funds in GBP, EUR, USD or CAD, convert when the rate suits you, and pay the developer locally in AED. No intermediary bank taking a cut at each step, and no explaining to a UK bank why you are wiring a large sum to the Gulf.
